Hi There Friends!
It’s Tuesday Night aka Girls’ Night! Girlie and I started our Girls’ Night a little early. We knew that we had a lot of plans for before dinner so right after snack and homework we made a little homemade pizza.
Once the pizza was done it was time to head to the gym. I’m doing a challenge this month through Sweat Pink and today’s challenge was to mix up your workout. I have been going to yoga every Tuesday night for a couple years now and it was kinda hard to do something different. Especially when my yoga instructor walked by me waiting outside a different classroom! (Sorry Sarah, I’ll be back next week!) But the timing was pretty ideal. Heather (from Evolution Fitness) was recording her Body Pump class for her certification and I figured a friendly face would be good. It wasn’t entirely a new workout but it was only my third Pump class ever and it was definitely a change of routine.
After getting our sweat on at the gym it was time for Girlie and I to get to the part of the evening we’d been anticipating for days- Orange Leaf! We were so excited when they announced that our town was finally getting a fun fro-yo place. Then it opened and we had plans to go last week but it didn’t work out. Tonight we were both feeling well and the weather warmed up enough to make fro-yo sound like fun.
During our post-dessert pizza Girlie got some exciting news: no school tomorrow! I think it’s a little presumptuous since we haven’t even seen a flake yet.
What do you think of school cancellations based on the forecast? I know it’s easier to make arrangements the night before but I think sometimes it results in 2 snow days rather than 1. (When the snow starts later than they thought.)
