I had a great start to my fitness week. Then… well, you’ll see.
Friday: I did the Pull workout of Week 11 of The Modern Woman’s Guide to Strength Training. I know I’d said I would run. But I didn’t. I did manage to string together 5 consecutive unassisted pull-ups. Yeah baby!
Saturday: I did the Lower Body workout of Week 11 of MWGTST. I was able to increase my front squats by 2 reps per set. Changing up my grip really helped. Then I did my first mission of Zombies Run! It was so much fun!
Sunday: I did the second mission of Zombies Run! Yep, from no running in over a month to running 2 days in a row.
Monday: Push Workout of Week 12 of MWGTST. I had gotten my flu shot earlier that day and totally didn’t think it would impact my workout. Until I almost dropped a 20lb dumbbell. That shoulder was kinda “dead arm” for the evening. I cut my Overhead Presses and push-ups short.
Tuesday: Family trip to Plimoth Plantation. We did a ton of walking around. I had never been. Definitely go if you’re local, we all enjoyed it.
Wednesday: Life got in the way.
Thursday: Worked a ridiculously long day.
Friday: Got my hair done.
Yep. Like I said, I started the week out great. Then life got all busy and such. This next week the calendar is a lot clearer so I’m hoping to get more workouts in.
