As we say in my day job “stop shoulding on yourself”. Stop the all or nothing thinking and the shouldn’ts about food.
Your confidence is a service to others. When I was wearing my tankini at the pool last week I mentioned to my friend that I felt like a bad feminist and role model by not wearing my bikini because I’ve put on some belly flab. There were amazing beautiful women of all sizes wearing bikinis. “Remember, you never have to earn your confidence.”
On having a work “uniform”. My usual work uniform is jeans, workout tank, cardigan, and scarf. Sometimes I replace the jeans with a skirt in the summer. Or I’ll mix it up with workout leggings and tank under a cardigan.
