Girlie got sick this week (and shared it with me) so I don’t have much fitness to share with you. Instead I’m actually going to participate in the “fashion” part of the Fit and Fashionable Friday Linkup.
Do you remember a couple weeks ago when I mentioned having a work uniform? Well, I actually took a couple pictures to show you more of what I mean.
I tend to wear a workout tank topped with a cardigan and scarf paired with either jeans or a skirt. I started wearing the workout tank as a motivation to go to the gym. I found that wearing even part of my workout clothes under my work outfit increased the likelihood I would actually go to the gym. Lately I wear this even on rest days so it may have more to do with my resistance to wear an actual bra;-)

Apparently I’ve been wearing the same scarf a lot lately. Same theme, different color scheme.
Now that we’ve talked about fashion, I do want to talk about this week’s workouts. I was able to get good workouts in on Friday, Saturday, and Monday. On Sunday we went for a family walk. Tuesday Girlie got sick and late Wednesday night/early Thursday morning I came down with it so that was it for my workouts this week.
It was also the end (for now) of my doing the MWGTST. I loved this program but it was time for a change. The minute I saw Neghar Fonooni’s Superheroine Fitness I wanted it. Now that I have it I can’t wait to get started! My plan is to get some running in over the weekend (hopefully) and enjoy Episode One, Adventure One on Monday.
