Good Morning and Happy Monday!
Long time readers might remember when I had a blog feature called Monday Morning Coffee Break. I shared fun coffee memes and whatever fun links I had come across in the previous week or two. I also periodically participate in Virtual Coffee Date linkups where we have coffee together to chat, virtually. Today, I’m combining the two. So go ahead and get yourself a cup of coffee. We can take a nice Monday morning coffee break together.
If we were having coffee together I’d tell you that I was informed my day job is ending/over. The company I work for is being really good about it though so I have a decent period of time to find a new job before my income ends. I’m trying to focus on really using this time to my best advantage. Looking for a really good job instead of just any job, writing, and maximizing my workouts as well as spending quality time with Girlie and HH. I’m excited to get to spend my weekends relaxing instead of doing chores!

If we were having coffee together I’d tell you that I’m still listening to horror podcasts on my walks with Spenser and my cardio workouts. I recently finished Small Town Horror and it really made me jump a couple times! I think that any fan of the Pacific Northwest Stories podcasts would probably like Small Town Horror.
If we were having coffee together I’d ask if you had any podcast recommendations. Black Tapes listeners, did you like the ending or not? No spoilers please. Personally, I liked the way it wrapped up. But I think she’ll be back. 😉 I’d also want to know if you have any podcast recommendations.
If we were having coffee together I’d tell you that I recently renewed my ACE Health Coach certification. Instead of taking random classes to fulfill my continuing ed credits I got a specialist certification in Athletic Nutrition. I found the course super informative and I can’t wait to start using what I’ve learned, both personally and professionally.

If we were having coffee together I’d tell you that I’ve been making my microwave protein cookies for snacks a lot lately. I may start making big batches of things but sometimes I struggle with getting all overly snacky being home all day so I like to have single servings. Oh, and speaking of single servings, Tina is offering a single serving desserts e-book for free right now. I downloaded it but haven’t read it yet so can’t really vouch for it but her recipes are usually good.
